Academics
Good Shepherd Academy provides a well-rounded education, offering an enriching curriculum for students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade that includes the arts, foreign languages, physical education and latest computer technology to complement the core subjects of religion, math, language arts, social studies, and science. We are also home to the Diocese of Scranton’s Individualized Instruction (II) Program for students with exceptionalities.
Our curriculum is structured to enable each student to reach their greatest potential. We are committed to ensuring the success of every child, and we view families as our partners in that mission. If your child has individual learning needs, we will work with you to meet them where they are. Our state-certified educators inspire your student bring amazing experiences into their classrooms.

Transportation
Busing:
Busing is available for students in the Crestwood, Dallas, Hanover Area, Lake-Lehman, Greater Nanticoke Area, Northwest Area, Pittston Area, Wilkes-Barre Area, Wyoming Area, and Wyoming Valley West School Districts.
Parking Lot and Drop Off:
Drop off is in front of the school, please do not pull up to Maple Street from the Parking Lot to drop off your child, as it creates a hazard for pedestrians.
If you are walking your child into the school or picking your child up after school, please park in the school's parking lot. Do not park in the apartment buildings across the street from the school. Please do not speed through the parking lot, drive slowly and park in assigned spots only.
Spirit Store
Good Shepherd Academy opens a school store a few mornings each week where students can purchase classroom-based items at a reasonable price. Offerings include pens and pencils, rulers, notebooks, highlighters, folders, glue sticks, etc. Also available for purchase is GSA Spirit Wear: backpacks, water bottles, lanyards, car magnets, and so much more!
