🐣Mrs. Upton’s Fourth Grade Science classes have spent the last month learning about the lifecycle of a chicken. They completed projects, worksheets, timelines, patiently watched their hatching and have cared for the 16 chicks that hatched!💙
💛The students thoroughly enjoyed the Science lesson but sadly had to say their goodbyes on Friday. The chicks are now headed to their forever home!☀️

Students in Miss Kebles’ class finally released their butterflies 🦋!! Throughout the past few weeks, they watched caterpillars 🐛 form their chrysalis and then turn into beautiful butterflies🦋. Students also created butterfly projects to show the process of metamorphosis. 🎨🦋🔄 
We are so happy that some of our first-grade friends were able to join us for the release! 💙💛

We were honored to welcome back a few of our graduates from the GSA Class of 2021. 
We had some pizza, dessert and got a chance to catch up! Several of our guys used to play their music by the dumpster at recess so we could not miss the opportunity to re-create recess with them!

Ms. Jones's 6th Grade World History students completed their Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh's Tomb project this past week. The students worked with their families to reconstruct the elaborate scenery of a pharaoh's tomb packed with artifacts, hieroglyphics,  sarcophagus and mummy.
Each one was uniquely crafted using different mediums including recycled materials, cardboard, clay, paper mache, or even 3D printing, while displaying the students' appreciation for this complex civilization's culture.

Miss Kebles’ science class is learning about habitats. For this unit’s project, students had to create their own animal and state what habitat it would live in. Students created a deer elephant and a dragon camel! At the end of class, we were all excited because our 10 caterpillars were delivered! 🦌🐘🐉🐪🐛🦋
