This past week, our third graders participated in Food Truck Day! Combining their reading, mathematics, science, and social studies skills, some of the third graders “built their own small businesses,” and opened their food trucks for business. Final Reading Buddy session! πŸ“š
8th grade science authors presented their original, adorable science books to their kindergarten buddies. πŸ”¬πŸ¦ 
The feedback from the littles? Pure excitement!
We finished off the year with a beach ball party to celebrate new friendships and awesome stories.
Watching our 8th graders mentor and grow, and seeing the joy on our kindergartners’ faces, is what it’s all about.

The WVC team held their Catholic Schools Cross Country Conference Meet this past weekend.

Medal winners include:

JV Boys: Logan Romanowski 2nd, Alex Jacien 5th, CJ Zardus 13th, Bruno Ciravolo 25th

JV Girls: Ava Schultz 9th

Varsity Boys: EJ Deemer 4th, Theron Roberts 5th

Varsity Girls: Kayla Smith 5th

JV Boys won the Conference Meet and took 1st place in the league.

Mrs. Upton's Fourth Grade Science Classes have spent the last month studying all about the life cycle of a chicken. They have had the opportunity to experience the entire cycle from start to finish. They hatched 15 chicks, named them, cuddled them and yesterday they said goodbye as the chicks headed to their forever homes  !
