Our future Guardians attended Kindergarten Screening this past week and were able to make some new friends and see what GSA is all about!
They even had the opportunity to sign on the dotted line to make it official! Kindergarten Signing Day was a success and these future Guardians are excited!

On Friday, we celebrated the end of our year long Reading Buddy program. As part of their Science class, the eighth graders created and shared books with their Kindergarten buddies. We ended our celebration with some beach ball fun!!

Students in the I.I. Program are preparing to welcome the soon-to-be butterflies! Today we were able to put the chrysalises into the net, where they will transform into butterflies within the next 7-10 days. We are so excited!

Today as a school community, we celebrated May Crowning, giving thanks as we honored Mary for her courage. Mary reminds us that God graces us in every moment of our daily lives: in work, play and prayer. The Blessed Virgin Mary helps us to grow in faith, hope and love. Through this celebration, students at Good Shepherd Academy prayed a decade of the rosary for peace throughout the world led by our May Queen, Nina Valenti.
Attendants were Emelia O’Shea and John Such-Mashinski. Our May Queen was joined by Crown Bearer, Caleb Casey and the Honor Guard comprised of Second Grade students.

It's a big week for the Guardians Guild! Tech Week is in full swing and the Cast and Crew are working so very hard to perfect their performance!

Pre-K 4 had a “splash-tastic” time at the Electric City Aquarium today! The students learned all about fish, reptiles and mammals. They even got to touch stingrays and tortoise shells!
